- 20 small puris (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup boiled and diced potatoes
- ½ cup finely chopped onions
- ½ cup finely chopped tomatoes
- ¼ cup tamarind chutney
- ¼ cup green chutney (coriander-mint)
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- ¼ tsp roasted cumin powder
- ¼ tsp red chili powder (optional)
- ½ cup sev
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
- 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds (optional)
- 1–2 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Arrange puris on a serving plate.
- Place a small amount of boiled potato on each puri.
- Add a sprinkle of chopped onions and tomatoes.
- Drizzle tamarind and green chutneys over each puri.
- Sprinkle chaat masala, cumin powder, and red chili powder (if using).
- Top generously with sev.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro, pomegranate seeds, and a few drops of lemon juice.
- Serve immediately for maximum crunch and flavor.
Notes
- Assemble just before serving to keep puris crispy.
- Adjust chutney quantities to taste.
- Can add boiled chickpeas for protein variation.
