Ingredients
-
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
-
2 tablespoons sugar (or brown sugar)
-
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
-
Pinch of salt
-
2 tablespoons peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
-
3 tablespoons milk
-
1 tablespoon vegetable oil or melted butter
-
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
1 tablespoon chocolate chips or chopped peanuts (optional)
Instructions
-
In a microwave-safe mug, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
-
Add peanut butter, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
-
Fold in chocolate chips or chopped peanuts if desired.
-
Microwave on high for 60–90 seconds. The cake should rise and look set but remain soft.
-
Allow to cool for 1–2 minutes.
-
Enjoy directly from the mug, optionally topped with a drizzle of chocolate or caramel.
Notes
-
For a richer flavor, use brown sugar or a mix of white and brown sugar.
-
Don’t overcook—the cake will dry out quickly.
-
Chunky peanut butter adds extra texture and flavor.
-
Optional toppings: chocolate chips, caramel, or whipped cream.
