Ingredients

1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)

1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

4 cups cold water

1/2 cup fresh mint leaves

1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat until sugar dissolves completely to make a simple syrup. Let it cool.

In a blender, add mint leaves and a little water. Blend until smooth.

Strain the mint mixture if you prefer a smoother drink.

In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, simple syrup, mint mixture, and remaining water.

Stir well and adjust sweetness if needed.

Add ice cubes and chill for at least 10 minutes.

Serve in glasses with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves.
