This Mango Nice Cream Recipe is a creamy dairy-free frozen dessert made with bananas and mango blended until smooth. It’s a healthy, refreshing alternative to traditional ice cream and perfect for warm days.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes (plus freezing time)
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks

  • 23 tablespoons milk (optional)

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Optional Toppings

  • diced mango

  • coconut flakes

  • granola

  • chopped almonds

  • honey drizzle

Instructions

  • Peel the bananas and slice them into small pieces.

  • Place the banana slices in a freezer bag or container and freeze for at least 2–3 hours.

  • Add frozen bananas and mango chunks to a blender or food processor.

  • Blend until the fruit begins to break down.

  • Add a small splash of milk if needed to help blending.

  • Continue blending until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.

  • Stir in vanilla extract if desired.

  • Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture or freeze for about 1 hour for firmer ice cream.

Notes

  • Use ripe bananas for the sweetest flavor.

  • A food processor often works better than a blender for frozen fruit.

  • Freeze the blended mixture briefly for scoopable ice cream.
