3–4 cardamom pods (crushed)

½ teaspoon fresh grated ginger (or ¼ tsp ground)

2 tablespoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)

1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

1 cup ice cubes

Optional: ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

In a saucepan, bring water to a gentle boil.

Add cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves, and ginger. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Add tea bags and let steep for 3–5 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in sweetener until dissolved.

Strain the tea mixture into a pitcher and let it cool slightly.

Fill glasses with ice cubes.

Pour the chai tea over the ice, filling halfway.

Add milk and stir gently to combine.
