Instructions

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.

Add butter or oil to the pan and allow it to melt.

Place one tortilla in the skillet.

Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese evenly over the tortilla.

Add optional ingredients like onions or peppers if desired.

Place the second tortilla on top or fold the tortilla in half.

Cook for 2–3 minutes until the bottom tortilla becomes golden and crispy.

Carefully flip the quesadilla using a spatula.

Cook for another 2 minutes until the cheese melts completely.

Remove from the pan and let it cool slightly.
